I wish I could give less stars. I very rarely leave reviews but felt compelled so that no one else will endure the same issues. The views are breath taking but that is the only positive thing I have to say. My friend and I booked a 2 bedroom suite with a hot tub. We were placed in a single room as though we wouldn't notice and when we asked about our reservation we were told that our room wasn't available due to a "technical issue" (no other information or explanation) so they assumed we were a couple and gave us a single instead. We inquired about a different 2 bedroom and were told none we available and any other room changes would be additional charges. The room we were given was drafty and the heat did not work properly. When we asked for additional blankets we were given a random quilt from who knows where that smelled like an ashtray. The bar was completely closed and the restaurant also had no heat. We booked an entirely different hotel and left the next day. Got sick from staying there one night, in the cold. 0/10 Do not recommend.
When comes to this hotel, it is hard to find words how to describe it! It was simply like living a dream! Hence the title reminds you life of the Gods! Hotel is situated on the cliff, a bit further from other amenities, but gives you more …
It was very good in terms of sea view and outdoor space and restaurant. The sports facilities and swimming pool were very good. But because we stayed there in the low season. The room service was poor, the rooms were not cleaned daily and only the towels were changed and the bed was made, which is a little against the hotel standards. The staff was very friendly and kind, which created a very good feeling to stay there.
Stayed for two days, arrived at around three o'clock, had to wait for an hour for cleaning, and checked in at around four o'clock. The room and leisure facilities are good. The sound of closing the door outside at night is quite loud, and …
This property is truly only good for the breathe taking views. We booked the presidential suite and were not impressed. The rooms are dated and didn’t seem that clean. No real amenities on the property or true concierge. The buffet breakfast offer was not to our liking. The property is far out from tourist areas. There was a nice town/village within walking distance at least. If staying at this property, having a car would be a must!
My husband absolutely loved this place. Food was good not great but the view was out of this world! We ended up staying longer than planned because we were so enchanted. This is a must in Santorini!
The room is good and the pool too but it’s better to stay at Fira because then you just have to sit once in the bus for oia. I stayed in the month of August. There’s no breakfast options for vegetarian and they charge 30,000 per night from you.
Great view but nothing else. Rooms are dirty and not clean when requested. My wife and I stayed here for 5 days and the only 1 time we requested to clean the room, one of my wife’s rings got missing. Thank God ring cost only €30. We notified the manager and the answer was “you have to look better in the room”. Please, if you can, avoid this hotel 🏨 if you can. They doesn’t care about their customers. I will attach photos of the room to show you what we found when we “look better for the ring” inside the room. I really not appreciate this kind of attitude to the people. A little extra about the hotel:
1. Hot water - only 5-10 min after start (at list in room 204)
2. Breakfast - every day the same (not hard to make an omelette or something else because you have kitchen)
3. Hot tub - cold (same temperature as pool, yes you can make it hot, it’s not hard people will appreciate especially for the off season when it’s chilly outside)
4. Drinks - overpriced (no alcohol) just buy from supermarket and enjoy yours
5. Food - below average around the island but price is above average
6. Safety - none. Take care about your safety. Your belongings are not safe in this place (your room). People are stealing, and they will - at this place.
7. Accommodations - our room were missing batteries in remote control, safe box batteries were dead (that’s why we didn’t put anything inside)
8. Cleanliness - none, our room was not clean during our stay, linens weren’t changed, just basic cleaning to look good (plus missing ring, probably should put sign “do not disturb” to avoid any problems)
9. View + worker Vasilius (sorry if I am wrong in spelling) will make you feel special.
Probably that’s it, I will attach photos for your review to avoid any further confusion. It’s just my honest observation about this place.
